A signature is not required upon receipt of any shipping order, but due to the perishable nature of our cakes, it is highly recommended that someone is home to receive the shipment. If no one is home, FedEx policy states "Drivers will only leave the package at the recipient's door or other secure location, if the driver believes it is safe and reasonable to do so." If you are sending the cake as a gift, it is necessary for you to notify the recipient that they will be receiving a perishable gift on the date of delivery.
Sweet Surrender will only guarantee the quality of our product if it is received by the shipping time or day selected by the customer. Sweet Surrender will not guarantee the product shipped if it was delivered and left outside subject to weather or external circumstances.
We will send customers their tracking number via email on the day that their package goes out. They can track their package on FedEx's website, www.fedex.com.
